Farmingdale Public Library Art Gallery

The collection presented to the Farmingdale Public Library to display for the month of
September 2006 is a broad collection of the various styles and works of North Massapequa
action artist Billy “Splatts!” Corrigan.   Many of the works are borrowed back from owners that
span a vast group of collectors, including celebrities, individuals, corporations and
charitable organizations.

Bill is honored to be able to share his work with his hometown audience.  “To be able to
share my work with those who come to seek knowledge at this fine institution is really
exciting.” said Bill.  He hopes his works will inspire all to check out a book or two on abstract
art, painting and the New York School.  “It’s a fascinating topic that spans the understanding
of the physical properties of both the human brain as well as paint.  To open your mind to the
world of abstract painting opens your mind to physics, emotion, chaos and string theories as
well.”
